TAFE Queensland is covered by the Statutory Text and Artistic Works Licence (section 113P of the Copyright Act).
The Statutory Text and Artistic Works licence is a paid licence that gives our staff the convenience of using a reasonable amount of published text and artistic works for educational purpose without seeking copyright owners' permission.
It is recommended that you link to websites instead of copying to minimise licence costs.
If you do want to print or download material from a website, read their Copyright Statement and Terms and Conditions to confirm that they allow copying for educational purposes.
If the website states Copyright All Rights Reserved and does not allow any reproduction, you should not copy anything from the website under s113P. You will need to contact them to seek permission.
When making s113P reproductions available to students, a warning notice is required to limit the potential liability of TAFE Queensland in the event that a student uses the content in a way that may infringe copyright.
TAFE Queensland may also participate in surveys to capture the extent of reproduction under this licence.
