These resources will help you access expert help from our Library team to assist you with accessing resources, finding relevant information, referencing works in your assignment and more. 

Library Live Chat & Ask a Librarian

If you can't get to a campus library, don't want to speak to someone face-to-face or are looking for quick, convenient answers on the go, you can always contact TAFE Queensland Library online via our Library Live Chat and Ask a Librarian services.

You can access live chat via the LIBRARY LIVE CHAT banner on the right-hand side of the library website.

During term, the chat is open Monday - Friday from 8am - 8pm.
During term breaks, it is open Monday - Friday from 8am - 4pm. 
Live Chat is closed on public holidays.


Ask a Librarian is available during Monday - Friday during library opening hours. Ask a Librarian does not operate on public holidays or the weekend.

Just email your question by clicking on the link above or via the Ask a Librarian search box on the TAFE Queensland Libraries homepage.

A librarian from the TAFE Queensland Library network will email an answer to your query, usually within 24 hours.

Virtual Library Sessions

Our online Virtual Library Sessions are quick, half-hour online Zoom sessions designed to help you use the library website and make the most of the services and resources available to you via the library. These sessions can:

  • Show you how to navigate the Library website
  • Help you use databases (like ClinicalKey or Techstreet)
  • Support your research process
  • Help you reference using the APA 7 or Harvard style 

Virtual library sessions are available to attend at the start of every term. Recorded sessions are available here
