Online library help

These are so many ways you can seek help from the library; in person, phone, email, online live chat, searching our frequently asked questions and our Ask a Librarian form. Learn more by following the links below:

Library Live Chat & Ask a Librarian

You can access live chat via the LIBRARY LIVE CHAT banner on the right-hand side of the library website.

During term, the chat is open Monday - Friday from 8am - 8pm.
During term breaks, it is open Monday - Friday from 8am - 4pm. 
Live Chat is closed on public holidays.


 

Ask a Librarian is available Monday - Friday during library opening hours. Ask a Librarian does not operate on public holidays or the weekend.

Email your question by clicking on the link above or via the Ask a Librarian search box on the TAFE Queensland Libraries homepage. We aim to respond within 24 hours.

Virtual Library Sessions

Our online Virtual Library Sessions are quick, half-hour online Zoom sessions designed to help you use the library website and make the most of the services and resources available to you via the library. These sessions can:

  • Show you how to navigate the Library website
  • Help you use databases (like ClinicalKey or Techstreet)
  • Support your research process
  • Help you reference using the APA 7 or Harvard style 

Virtual library sessions are available to attend at the start of every term. Recorded sessions are available here
