Adobe Products - Creative Cloud and Express

TAFE Queensland has partnered with Adobe to give students a number of options when it comes to choosing the best software for their creative projects. 

Adobe Express (previously Adobe Spark) is a free online and mobile based design app. Adobe Express allows users to create graphics, web pages, and short videos for social media, easily and quickly. 

For more complex creative needs, the Adobe Creative Cloud offers a premium version by subscription, with access to additional design apps including Photoshop, Illustrator or Premiere Pro, along with greater cloud storage. Current TAFE Queensland students have access to this subscription service for $55 for the duration of your study or up to twelve months (whichever comes first).

  • Variety of formats including flyers, logos, banners, social media graphics, business cards and more.

How to access Adobe Express

Adobe have now provided all TAFE Queensland students with FREE access to Adobe Express.

To access your Express account, please follow these steps:

Step 1:  To access Adobe Express click on the following link: https://www.adobe.com/express/

Step 2:  Click Sign in at the top right of the page

Step 3:  Click on Continue with Email

Step 4: Enter your student email address.  It will be in this format: studentnumber@tqstudent.edu.au

Step 5: Sign into your TAFE account with your student email address and Connect password.

PDF Programs & Help

PDF (Portable Document Format) is a document file format used to present and exchange documents easily, independent of software, hardware, or operating system.

Many documents and forms are produced or distributed as PDFs, including some course information and assessment details in Connect. It is important that you download and save any documents from Connect before typing any information into the document. 

The Adobe Support pages provide helpful information on filling out PDF forms and the slides below outline the basic steps of creating your own fillable forms.

  • How to fill in your own interactive form - Adobe Support provides some useful tips on how to fill out PDF forms
  • Adobe Acrobat Reader - A free PDF reader that allows you to view, print, sign and annotate PDFs.
  • iLovePDF - A free online tool that allows you to upload a pdf to edit pdfs including split your PDF file, delete pages, merge pdf files, or create a watermark.
