The Journal of Vocational Education and Training is a peer-reviewed international journal which includes articles that look at critical discussions of policy and practice, as well as conceptual and theoretical developments in the field. Some articles are not free to read; look out for articles with the unlocked padlock for Open Access.

The International Journal of Teaching and Learning in Higher Education (ISSN 1812-9129) provides a forum for higher education faculty, staff, administrators, researchers, and students who are interested in improving post-secondary instruction. 

Publishes research on current or recently completed research and reviews on training, technical, and vocational education in Australia and internationally. Not all articles are open access; make sure you select the 'Open Access' tab.

This journal features articles of leading scholars from different countries who tackle the problems of teachers as well as students, and of planners as well as administrators. Not all articles are open access; look for articles that have 'Open Access' as part of the listing.

Magazines & Newspapers

 

The Australian TAFE Teacher is published 3 times a year and is the official journal of the TAFE Division of the Australian Education Union. 

Australian Educator is the AEU’s quarterly magazine on the issues and debates in education. This mostly covers primary & secondary schooling, but may be of interest to vocational teachers.

The AEU participates in and contributes to debates on education in Australia in a range of ways including submissions to inquiries. They develop their own research, articles, and commission independent research.

The Australia/NZ Reference Centre combines Australasian magazines, newspapers, newswires and reference books.
